What if you could find maternity clothes that make you feel confident and beautiful? Here are 8 mama approved tips to help you rock your maternity clothes!

The moment you look at the pregnancy test and see positive you know things are about to change. Your body is about to go through some huge changes. The nausea is going to start, your clothes are going to be too small, and sleep will become your favorite thing.

The last thing you want to do is go maternity shopping.

What if it could be fun? What if you could find maternity clothes that make you feel confident and beautiful? Here are 8 mama approved tips to help you rock your maternity clothes!

Get Comfortable

First things first… You need to be comfortable! You have enough on your plate while being pregnant. One of the best things about maternity clothes is that they’re comfortable! Look for elastic bands and loose fitting options.

While you’re lounging at home, find a cute maternity robe that will make you feel comfortable through your body’s transitions.

It is also a stylish option for the hospital and for when you are home with the baby.

What if you could find maternity clothes that make you feel confident and beautiful? Here are 8 mama approved tips to help you rock your maternity clothes!

Find The Perfect Pair Of Jeans

The first thing you need to do is go out and find the perfect pair of jeans. Look for a pair with an elastic waist band. This will make sure you feel comfortable all day! The great thing about jeans is they can go with everything!

Accessorize

Balance the belly with accessories. Pick up a few chunky jewelry pieces, a cute scarf, or some earrings that you fall in love with right away. This is a great way to spice up your outfit and you can wear it all after your pregnancy as well.

This is a great way to spice up your outfit and you can wear it all after your pregnancy as well.

Layers

It’s hard to feel comfortable when you’re pregnant. It’s even harder when you’re feeling hot and cold every few minutes! One thing that can help with this is dressing in layers.

Wear a short sleeved shirt or a dress with a cardigan.

Flowy Tops

As your belly grows during your pregnancy, you’re going to find yourself going through clothes. Pick up a few flowy tops that can last you longer and they’re adorable!

You can throw one of them on with the perfect pair of jeans and you’re set!

Dresses

I have to admit that maxi dresses are one of my favorite maternity options. They’re cute, comfy, and you can wear them all year long!

Be sure to stock your maternity wardrobe with plenty of maternity dresses!

I’m a sucker for animal print, so this black animal print color block  maxi dress is just what I’ve been looking for! It’s adorable, comfortable, and you can wear it during your entire pregnancy!  I also loved that it is a perfect piece to dress up, or dress down.

Comfy Shoes

Be sure to pick up a pair of cute and comfy flats to top off your cute outfit. Lean towards comfort and your feet will thank you at the end of the day!

Be Confident

At the end of the day the most important thing to have while pregnant is your confidence. You are growing a beautiful little baby in your belly and you should flaunt it! This is your time to shine mama!

My first thought was fuzzy socks, because your feet put in a lot of extra work when you’re pregnant and deserve to be pampered. I also love the flowy tops because they are so comfortable and can be stylish too.

Such a gorgeous dress and robe! Something I never thought I would do was embrace the new belly by wearing a lot of stripes. These are great style tips, especially the first one. Comfort is EVERYTHING when you’re pregnant!

I lived in maternity leggings when I was pregnant. My staples were flowy top and ultra-supportive maternity leggings. I was pregnant through the winter but ran so hot, I needed things that breathed!

Loving this dress and robe! I’ve only been pregnant during the winter months with both of my babes but I can assure you that maxi dresses will be my go-to if I ever have a summer baby lol but for now, leggings and a few good pair of maternity jeans with fitted tops are my favorites! I also want to add that I’m so sorry for your loss… I know the pain of that all too well. Hugs, mama.

Yes they are! They can be more comfortable than pants, because you don’t have to tug at them as your belly gets bigger.
