What is a Postpartum Doula?
A postpartum doula is a trained professional who supports new moms and families during the critical weeks and months after birth. While so much attention is placed on pregnancy and delivery, the postpartum period is often overlooked—and it can be one of the most emotionally and physically demanding times of a mother’s life.
As your postpartum doula, I’m here to help you navigate:
- Recovery from birth
- Breastfeeding & lactation support
- Newborn care & sleep routines
- Emotional & mental health support
- Household organization & meal preparation
- Partner & sibling support
Motherhood is beautiful—but it can also feel overwhelming and isolating. You don’t have to do it alone.
I’m Diedre—a mom of four, a school counselor, and your postpartum partner. I know firsthand that postpartum isn’t just about the baby—it’s about YOU, too.
