What is Amazon Prime Day?
This year, it is a two-day shopping event. For Amazon Prime members, it’s like Christmas in July! There are sales on items in every category.
How do you get started?
The best way to take advantage of Amazon Prime deals is to watch the items you like a week in advance (it’s not too late to start!), then on the sale days, purchase your items through the Amazon app or Amazon.com.
The best part about being a prime member is that certain deals drop on prime day and you’ll be notified when they go live. Special prime day options have the prime badge, so you know if they qualify or not.
You’ll get a $10 Amazon credit if you sign on to the app for the first time, and another $10 credit after your first in-app purchase.
Also, if you shop the Whole Foods Market (in store or via Prime now), you’ll get $10 on Prime Day.
Now that you know how Prime Day works, I want to share a few of my favorite products with you.
I’ll admit, I didn’t hear too many people raving about CurlMix, so I wasn’t rushing to try it.
This summer, my cousin had some and I decided to try it in my wash and go. My curls were popping, so I became a fan! I haven’t tried all of the items in their 4 step product line, but the step 3 Pure Avocado Moisturizer is great!
I can’t say enough good things about Hairfinity. I love the shampoo, conditioner & hair vitamins.
The products are a little on the pricey side, but worth every penny. I don’t typically rave about a shampoo alone, but the Hairfinity shampoo is the real deal. It leaves my hair squeaky clean and moisturized.
And the gummy vitamins taste like candy! I’ve been taking them to combat postpartum hair loss.

What other deals are available on Amazon Prime Day?
Sally Beauty will be offering prime day deals from Sunday, July 14-Tuesday, July 16.
One of the deals I’m most excited about is the 50% off all conditioners and treatments.
I have 3 conditioners to 1 shampoo. Why? Because conditioners bring the life back into dry, brittle hair. A good conditioner also helps to detangle curls without breakage.
